This study aimed to investigate the extent of the pre-service teachers in Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education Program being ready to align with the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers. Moreover, it identified potential correlations between pre-service teacher profiles sex, academic track, and area of specialization and subject handled in terms of their PPST readiness scores. It was discovered that there is a promising foundation in terms of literacy, numeracy and communication skills level of pre-service teachers; however, a lot has yet to be achieved overall. There remains a great deal more work to do around curriculum, assessment techniques and engagement of diverse learners. The research went on to identify the establishment of stronger community links and professional development prioritized in the refining of teaching philosophies and collaboration. One of the interesting findings of this research was the strong association of the pre-service teacher profile and PPST readiness. The academic track and area of specialization had a higher relation compared to the subject handled during practice teaching. This would then imply that there could be benefits to be made in designing BTVTEd programs responsive to pre-service teacher backgrounds with unique skill gaps and ensuring that graduates are better prepared for the PPST and subsequent teaching tasks. In that light, the research recommends that BTVTEd programs integrate training that domiciles core academic skills, elements of curriculum development and curriculum assessment practices, and strategies for catering to diverse learners. Besides, community engagement and professional development programs in fine-tuning pre-service teachers will go a long way in contributing to their general preparedness.

This paper focused primarily on e-waste recycling, its conceptual framework, meaning, types, the processes involved, the need and the adverse effect of e-waste on public health, aesthetics and environment. The inherent benefits of e-waste recycling were highlighted as EEE helps to improve living standards worldwide by providing information and means of communication, in addition to business and educational as well as income opportunities. In addition, the problems or difficulties facing e-waste recycling in Nigeria were discussed and ways to overcome these challenges were recommended. It was concluded that while recycling is crucial for mitigating the environmental and public health impact of WEEE, it is clear that the process is not without its challenges. The problems of recycling e-waste highlight the need for more funding, education and awareness campaign in addition to formulation and implementations of strict national and international standards and regulations. The drawbacks of e-waste recycling do not negate its benefits. Recycling of e-waste is still a vital part of sustainable waste management. By improving e-waste recycling habits in Nigeria, it can help not only in preserving natural resources or in safeguarding public health and environment, but also promote a sustainable approach to technology consumptions hence paving the way for a cleaner, greener and more sustainable future. This will also avoid environmental degradation and seepage into the food chain causing public health concerns. Government should ensure the adequate assembly of used e-waste gadgets for recycling to avoid exposure to man in secluded environments.

This paper focused primarily on Health Care Wastes (HCW) specifically: definition, classifications, exposure pathways and its potential health, environmental and aesthetic implications. Health Care Waste Management (HCWM) was discussed as a tool used to avert the adverse effect of HCW. The challenges facing adoption and implementation of HCWM in Nigeria were enumerated and ways to overcome these challenges were recommended. An overview of World Health Organization (WHO) guideline on HCWM was presented. This was to emphasis the global concern on HCWM. The conclusion drawn was that, adequate HCWM is an indicator of efficient healthcare delivery system, after all if patients are to receive adequate healthcare services and recover in a healthy surrounding, waste generated must be effectively dispose of safely. Therefore, waste operators, the public, regulators and government agencies must braze up to the challenges of poor health care related handling and disposal as government must enforce stringent measures to protect the public and environment. Where feasible, reasonable budgetary allocation from all tiers of government and favouring the safe and environmentally sound treatment of hazardous HCW by autoclaving, microwaving, chemical treatment and steam treatment over waste incineration, open dumping and landfilling is imminent and of necessity.

Consumer acceptability is a crucial factor in the success of processed foods, as it directly influences purchasing decisions and market sustainability. In the competitive food industry, sensory attributes such as appearance, taste and texture play a significant role in shaping consumer preferences. Understanding these sensory perceptions helps manufacturers enhance the product quality and align with consumer expectations. A health-conscious consumer increasing seek nutritious and innovative food options, the development of acceptable and appealing processed foods becomes even more relevant.  The study aimed to evaluate the consumer’s level of acceptability of Coco-Squash Spread in terms of appearance, taste and consistency in the three different samples. Acceptability Score Sheet was utilized as the instrument in the research study to gather data through sensory evaluations of thirty (30) consumers as the respondents of the study. Results revealed that Sample 1 obtained a mean score of 3.7, Sample 2 achieved a mean score of 4.08, both results to acceptable and Sample 3 received a mean score of 2.9 rated as moderately acceptable. Analysis of Variance results indicated no significant differences among the three samples in terms of appearance, taste and consistency. The appearance of the samples was influenced by the proportion of squash compared to coconut milk. In terms of taste, the dominant squash taste remained noticeable despite the varying proportions among the samples. Additionally, the consistency across all samples was consistent due to the standardized preparation process, which included the same procedures for the coconut milk and squash. The study highlights the potential of Coco-Squash Spread as an acceptable food product with no significant in sensory across the evaluated samples.

Transportation is considered the economic lifeline in town .and as it adds vitality to the area; it cannot acheive the integration of urban services without the availability of the necessary facilities for the urban space with harmonious urban fabric.

In this search we adopt the vital design of urban area with landmarks of town.as the meterological tower at the western entrance of Ouzera Town is considered a distinctive architectural style for the design of the University Rectorat in urban harmony with landcape architecture in an ecological environment. The Public squares are designed with an integrated approach to urban fabric and scientific facilities. The center of commerce in Ouzera Town is also designed with a vital approach in which access to services is easy. The vital location of the commercial center ensures the integration of services with facilities of health and its distictive architecture increases the urban value of the place in an urban look with solar panels.
