This study was conducted on local chicken in Alamata district from January to April 2010 to evaluate local chicken erythrocyte and to see the effect of sex and age on these values. A total of 262 chickens were randomly selected and whole blood was collected using EDTA coated test tubes. The blood samples collected were subjected to laboratory analysis to determine the value of PCV, Hb concentratioon, and RBC count. MCV, MCH and MCHC were calculated from the values of PCV, Hb concentration and RBC count. It was found that the mean values for PCV, Hb, and RBC count were 39.16% (38.09-40.22 at 95%CI); 9.46gm/dl (9.21-9.71 at 95% CI) and 3.34 x106/mm3 (3.20-3.47 x106/mm3 at 95%CI) respectively. The calculated values for MVC, MCH and MCHC were 126.34fl, 31.10pg and 24.79%, respectively. Statistically significant (p<0.05) differences in PCV, MCV and MCHC mean values were found between young and adult chickens. However, the differences in Hb, RBC and MCH mean values were not statistically significant (p>0.05) for young and adult local chicken. Again the difference in mean values for PCV and MCHC in male and female chickens were statistically significant (p<0.05). However, no statistically significant figure (p>0.05) was found in mean values of RBC count, Hb concentration, MCV and MCH between male and female chicken. It is recommended that this finding can be considered when there is a need of normal hematological values of local chicken.

The situation that is obtainable in South Africa judging from the historical and socio-political perspective is one in which the black majority lived under the oppressive apartheid regime designed, manipulated and controlled by the white minority. Racial discrimination, an inherent effect of the apartheid policy of the white minority has reduced the blacks to a state of the underprivileged in their fatherland. Racial discrimination in this respect means the state of feeling estranged or separated from one's environment, culturally, socially, economically, politically and otherwise. Its effects on the sociological well being of the individual cannot be overemphasized. The dramatic works of Athol Fugard, a South Africa playwright, have had close sympathy for the situation of the life of blacks in South Africa. The major literary themes of his plays include racial segregation, oppression, deprivation and subjugation. These and the inherent effects of the apartheid laws on the oppressed in South Africa are the main focus in Athol Fugard's play: Sizwe Bansi is Dead are used as a case study in this submission.

From time immemorial, global waters play an influential role as global lifeline for international trade and commerce as well as maintaining status quo relations between states. Recent technological development and connectivity open up new horizons for international trade through the transport and transshipment of energy, goods and products around the world where security concerns remain a major hindrance to take full fledge leverage from this avenue.  Cross-border criminal activities like piracy and global terrorism poses the primary threat for maritime domain. Therefore, this paper intended to illustrate the very concept of terrorism and draw a line between terrorism and piracy, and to examine the role of international legal instruments including its shortcomings and challenges

Research and Analysis Journal Vol. 1 No. 1 (2018),Volume 2018 , Page RAJ-2018-23-25

Objectives: Determine whether a low serum concentration of 25-hydroxyvitamin D, which responsible for bone and calcium metabolism, was associated with type 2 Diabetes.

Study Design: Prospective observational study

Setting: Therapeutic clinic, Azerbaijan Medical University, Baku.

Subjects and intervention: Total 72 patients with type 2 diabetes major more than 45 years of age wereincluded in investigation.

Study period: 7 October 2015 to 22 September 2016

Results: Lower levels of 25(OH)D3 was associated with less good glycemic control in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. 25(OH)D3 had a negative correlation with HOMA-IR (p<0.001). HOMA-IR and fasting insulin values were lower with higher mean 25(OH)D3 concentrations. Lower serum 25(OH)D3 concentrations also increase serum parathyroid hormone (PTH).At levels <20 ng/ml, 25(OH) D had a negative correlation with PTH (p<0,01). Plasma osteocalcin (OC) concentration, a marker for osteoblastic activity, was markedly lower in diabetic rats than in nondiabetic (8.2±0.7ng/ml vs 29.5±1.4ng/ml; p<0.05).

Conclusion: Vitamin D possibly plays a role in formation glucose homeostasis. There is a negative correlation between serum levels of vitamin D and insulin resistance. In consequence, this findings demonstrated that vitamin D concentration in diabetic patients was obviously lower in comparison to non-diabetic individuals.

Non-formal education is one of the study carried out in order to improve the knowledge and skills of individuals held in contrast to the formal education system. Non-formal education is implemented based on the needs of learners. Because it is based on the needs of learners, the non-formal education was also carried out by following the rules of the learner, non-formal education means more flexible. Characteristics of learners to non-formal education usually are adults. the learning process should be based on adult-based learning. One application of science-based adult learning is there in the planning process of learning. Planning adult learning is in the process of preparing lesson plans based on the needs of adults are considered very important for adults.
