Research and Analysis Journals is an open access journal. To support the editorial, peer-review, production, hosting, archiving, and long-term preservation of published scholarly content, the journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted articles.
Article Processing Charge
The Article Processing Charge for an accepted manuscript is:
USD 110 per article
The APC is payable only after the manuscript has successfully completed the peer-review process and has been formally accepted for publication.
There is no submission fee, peer-review fee, or charge for the initial evaluation of a manuscript.
What the APC Covers
The APC supports the costs associated with:
Editorial and administrative processing.
Peer-review management.
Copyediting and article preparation.
Online publication and hosting.
Digital archiving and long-term preservation.
DOI registration and article metadata services.
Maintenance and development of the journal's publishing platform.
No Payment Before Editorial Decision
The payment of an APC has no influence on the editorial decision.
Editorial decisions are based solely on the academic quality, originality, relevance, research methodology, ethical compliance, and overall scholarly merit of the submitted manuscript.
Authors are not required to pay any fee before the manuscript has been accepted for publication.
Waiver and Discount Policy
The journal recognizes that authors may face financial limitations and that APCs may create barriers to publication.
Authors who are unable to pay the APC may request a full or partial waiver or discount. Waiver requests should be submitted to the editorial office before or at the time of manuscript submission, or before the APC invoice is issued.
Each request will be considered individually based on the author's circumstances and available journal resources.
A waiver or discount request will be handled independently of the editorial evaluation and will not influence the peer-review or publication decision.
Additional Charges
The journal does not charge authors for:
Manuscript submission.
Initial editorial screening.
Peer review.
Colour figures.
Standard online publication.
Standard article formatting.
No additional mandatory publication charges are applied beyond the stated APC unless clearly communicated to the author in advance.
Withdrawal Charges
Authors may request withdrawal of a manuscript before publication. The journal does not impose a withdrawal fee before the article has been published.
If an article has already been published, requests for withdrawal or retraction are handled in accordance with the journal's publication ethics and retraction policies.
Transparency of Author Fees
All author charges are clearly stated on the journal website and are made available to authors before publication. Changes to APCs or other author charges will be clearly communicated and will not be applied retroactively to manuscripts already accepted for publication.
The APC and any waiver or discount decision have no influence on the editorial, peer-review, or publication decision.
