Abstract
The film or commonly observed as a carrier of nits and lice, is an environmental public health problem since it emerges when the average temperature of a locality increases. In that sense, it is an epidemic because it is potentially increased in areas with low human development; health, education and employment, but it is disseminated in other economic sectors by the dynamics of contagion. The objective of this study is to review the classic models of environmental public health regarding the spread of diseases. The models of Quetelet, Lotka , Volterra and McKendrick are exposedthe latter ideal for establishing intervention models; prevention, treatment and adherence, but lines of research according to the locality are recommended in the promotion of self-care.
